"A healer's power stems not from any special ability, but from maintaining the courage and awareness to embody and express the universal healing power that every human being naturally possesses."

Somatic Attachment Therapy connects knowledge of how the nervous system regulates the body and the basis of somatic defenses that are related to attachment insecurity. By recognizing defenses in the body, we can help clients change patterns and heal attachment wounds. With a combination of breath work and sensing bodily experiences, clients can heal trauma and emotional pain.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a method based on attachment science. It is for individuals, couples, and families to help them feel more whole and to create healthful connections in relationships. It supports clients with emotional regulation and with healing interaction patterns that cause emotional pain.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence–based therapy that provides quick recovery. The treatment uses horizontal eye movements and a specific script to support clients in creating more positive memories and sensations related to their symptoms. Clients often report relief and improved symptoms after the first session.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based therapy used to support people with healing trauma and painful experiences so that they can feel more whole and connected to self. IFS helps people to explore all the different parts of themselves in order to feel more integrated.
I have worked in the counseling field for more than eight years. My experiences include working for non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting young children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Working with diverse populations and clients has given me skills to support clients from many different backgrounds and cultures.
I am dedicated to learning evidence-based practices to support my clients and my personal self growth. Some of the training courses and workshops that I have participated in include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Advanced and Enhanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Internal Family Systems: A Step-by-Step Guide Through Clinical Applications of the IFS Model, Dick Schwartz’s Internal Family Systems Master Class: Experience IFS in Action with Complex Trauma and PTSD, IFS for Clinical Challenges: Resolving Trauma-Anxiety-Attachment Injuries-Addiction, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) with Children & Parents: Innovative Interventions that Combine the Strength of IFS with the Power of Play, Focusing Oriented Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Social Justice, Trauma-Focused Somatic Experiencing, Mother-Infant Bonding, Nurturing Parenting, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma- Focused CBT, Somatic Concentric Sex Therapy, Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), Speaking of Sex: Integrating Couples and Sex Therapy, Somatic Sex Therapy, Embodied Tantra for Couples, Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship, Somatic Attachment.
